We have started a new tradition in our family that our boys call “jingle walks.” Most nights leading up to Christmas we hand each child a set of Sleigh Bells after dinner and go for a crisp, magical walk around the neighborhood to see everyone’s Christmas lights. We can’t wait for all the lights to go up this year so that we can start taking our “jingle walks” again!
I put a lot of thought into how to improve this year’s Sleigh Bells and I am very happy with how they turned out. Each set of bells is meticulously handcrafted from Buttero leather from Conceria Walpier Tannery, half way between Florence and Pisa, Italy. I decided to keep the much beloved “raspberry” style solid brass bells because of their great beauty and joyous timbre and used Brass colored thread to round out the ensemble.
